It's a deal!

My mom called me the other day and told me that she wanted to make a deal with me. She has been doing her own weight loss regiment and wanted to make it a little more enticing for herself. I guess I must have popped into her head because she got an idea to make a deal with me. So here it is...
If I meet my goal by July 4th, she will buy me this swim suit I have been looking at but haven't bought because it would look ridiculous on my body as it is right now.
If she meets her goal by July 4th, I will buy her a massage (she will tell you that it is much needed)

GOAL: I am a size 12 now and I want to be a size 7 by then.

I wont share the details of my mom's goal but she is already on her way and doing very well.
Stay tuned!!!

hmmm

So I was watching the biggest loser tonight. It hasn't been on for 2 weeks because of the Olympics so I was excited to watch it again. It gives me a push to get my workouts done. I was a little disappointed to see how the teams were decided. The black team was the "weak" team and the blue team was the "strong" team. That plan backfired because the black team worked harder because they had something to prove. It made me start to ask myself if that was a good thing or a not so good thing? I get the whole "I'll show you" attitude but isn't it a little sad that we can't just do it on our own? What would happen if there wasn't somebody there to doubt you? I guess it bothers me because telling me I can't do something doesn't set a fire underneath me as much as others. I'm more of the positive feedback kind of person. The more positive things I hear, the more I work and the harder I work. So yeah that was my thought of the day.

Once upon a time...

There was a beautiful (slender) princess. The princess met her (slender) prince and they were soon married. They were quickly blessed with four beautiful children, 2 pets, 2 vehicles, and their own home. while all of this was happening, something evil and wicked "crept" in. It was the wretched EXTRA WEIGHT! The royal couple knew they had to fight this Nemesis to be rid of it forever. And so they began a rigorous regime fondly named the INSANITY workout. It was tough but they were not to be defeated. Each day they "pushed through it" and they remembered to "dig deeper."

The royal couple is now a week into their insanity and they are starting to embrace the life they will have once they conquer their foe. The princess is so excited to flaunt her new royal wardrobe when she is the slender woman she is meant to be. The prince cannot wait to dawn his royal physique when he is the slender man he is meant to be. Most importantly they are excited to live healthy and truly happily ever after.
